12A & 80G

Tax exemption and what it means for you

Because the foundation holds 12A and 80G registrations, your donation is exempt from tax for us and deductible for you.

What 80G gives you

Indian taxpayers can claim a deduction on the eligible amount of their donation, as allowed under Section 80G.

The receipt you get

Every donation receives a receipt with the foundation's name, PAN, 80G reference and the donation details needed to claim the deduction.

How to claim

Keep the receipt and enter the details in your income-tax return. Donations are also reported by us so they appear against your PAN.

For companies

Together with CSR-1 registration, 12A and 80G allow the foundation to receive and account for corporate CSR contributions and to issue utilisation certificates for your filings.
